Hi Maryliz, I am sorry to read about the state of limbo that you and your husband find yourselves in right now. Myself and my wife are in the same situation; she was diagnosed with late stage, inoperable ovarian cancer 20 months ago. The cancer has now spread to her lungs, it's aggressive, she's currently on a new course of chemo, and has spent more time in hospital than out over the past month. Nobody has ever yet told us that her condition is terminal (in fairness, we've never asked). I prefer to think of it all as 'manageble' and leave it at that, I have faith that those who are caring for my wife know what they're doing. And to be honest, I don't want to be given 'deadlines' (no pun intended) that would no doubt scare the hell out of my wife and myself; I'm quite comfortable with our not knowing when the inevitable will happen, but it's clear from your post that you aren't. I can't give you the answers you seek about your husband's condition, but I just wanted to reach out and let you know that you're not alone in the situation you find yourself in right now.
