Anyone getting breathlessness with breast cancer?

Hi all,

My mum was diagnosed with secondary breast cancer in January. She’s 78 and it’s spread to her spine, bones and liver. Her lungs are apparently clear of disease but she’s been very breathless, as in she feels as if she just can’t get enough air down. We’re caring for her at home but the district nurse checks her vitals and has said that her SATS are fine. I just wondered whether anyone else has experienced this and if there are any tips to help her? Feeling very helpless at the moment and so very difficult to see her suffering and not be able to help.

Thanks in advance,
