  • Hello Crazyfamily and welcome to the forum.

I can see from your post that you have a lot going on at the moment. It's totally understandable that you feel you're in a scary place at the moment. Waiting for tests and results can be a particularly difficult time and it's natural to have lots of questions about "what if?" And you're dealing with all of that for both your partner and your Mum.

I know that there will be other members here on the forum who can understand how overwhelming things can feel and hopefully they will reply to share their experiences and offer support. You're welcome to post here whenever you feel the need to offload, ask questions or chat to others; we'll do our best to support you.

I wonder if you might also find it helpful to talk things through with one of our team of nurses. They are available on 0808 800 4040, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. I'm sure that they will be able to offer some support and advice as well.

I hope that the CT goes smoothly tomorrow and that you don't have to wait too long for the results. Keep in touch and let us know how you get on.

    Best wishes,
