My wonderful Dad was diagnosed with stage 4 kidney and prostate cancer a year ago... we moved him into our home to care for him and we have all had a good year... the past 4 wks he has gone down hill quickly, he is in pain, constipated , vommiting at times  and really weak, he has little quality of

life.... I am contacting his gp in the morning to discuss his current presentation, 

He has told us that he is ready to go and its breaking  my heart as I want him to be in peace and pass away also even though  he is still trying to make jokes to cheer us all up

Cancer is so bloody cruel
