Good news today. My Mam has not got secondary bowel. It is a new primary in the lung. Soo unlucky but its small, 2.5cm. Contained and slow growing. 
Consultant has referred her for Lobectomy. Initially in MDT they did not want to operate due to her being 72 but having met her today he said he does not hesitate to refer her. She is fit and well and said should they refuse he will insist on 2nd opinion.. and would " Jump hoops"

He is treating her with curative intent so surgery if is.

Soo soo grateful for our NHS. Hopefully surgery withing next 4 weeks.
