Hi my husband 51 is going through cancer treatment at the moment. He was first diagnosed in June 2018 with terminal cancer. He had chemo then chemotherapy and his scans weren't showing any signs of cancer in April 2019. But his recent scans have shown that the cancer is back and in more than one place. I know exactly how u feel. Scared, lonely, emotionally drained, helpless even. I'm trying to keep strong for my husband and our children but it's tough. Even though statistically things dont look good for my husband we are trying to keep positive that he will respond well to treatment again. I've also found a few trials that I will chat to the doctor about. 

The only advice I can give u at the moment is to just be there for him if he needs to talk etc, go with him to appointments, if he is anything like my husband he doesn't take anything in so I go to every appointment with him. And also for yourself talk to your friends, family or find local support groups and get everything off your chest, cry when u need to or scream. Also dont be afraid to challenge your doctors if ur not happy with anything, ask for a second opinion if u feel u need one. Push for everything. I hope that whatever your husband is diagnosed with that he gets the best treatment possible. Take care of yourself. Xx
