Caring for someone with cancer oesophageal Stent

Hi all,

it has now been over a year since my dad was first diagnosed with oesophageal cancer.
he is going into hospital on Friday for a stent.

i just wondered if anyone or anyone's relatives have had this and if it actually helped?

his is now very skinny and frail and struggled to eat anything, I am praying this helps him!

Hello Daisy,
I hope everything goes well for your dad on Friday. Hopefully you will hear from some of our other members here who have also had an oesophageal stent and they will share with you whether it was beneficial to them. I hope that it will help your dad with eating as it must be so hard for you to see him so skinny and frail at the moment.
