Hi, my name is Rhys and Im 14. not even 6 months ago my step dad was diagnosed with Soft tissue sarcoma, in the following weeks there were a few mistakes made by the doctor and they didn't find out how fast it had spread. My step dad was rushed into emergency surgery and luckily survived the high risk op, though he lost quite a bit of his chest muscle in the process. Now after surgery he has to undergo radiotherapy and gets the next 6 months off.  He has to go to the hospital around an hour away for 5 days a week for the next six months. In that time I have to do my best to help my mum look after him. This is just me starting my experience with cancer
