    Hi Brian,

    Welcome to our forum.

I'm sorry to hear that you and your partner are still coping with the aftermath of cancer surgery. There are a number of places where you can discuss her problems and fears and the stress that this is causing you both.

Do you feel that just chatting about this with others who are familiar with all that you've been through would be enough to help, or, do you feel that you need counselling? There are a number of local organisations throughout the country who offer counselling. The names of these vary throughout the country. Places like Maggies, the Haven or MacMillan all offer counsellors, or you can just go along for a chat with others who have been through cancer treatment themselves. There are also courses on Moving Forward and other topics run by MacMillan throughout the country. I am sure that your partner's breast care nurse or GP could make some suggestions.

As far as forums are concerned, you are more than welcome to chat here. I joined when I was first diagnosed 10 years ago and, have found this site to be a tremendous help. There is also a specific breast cancer forum at forum.breastcancernow.org/

Please let us know how you get on. We are always here for both of you.

    Kind regards,

    Jolamine xx
