Hi, my mum starts chemo on the 30th dec. Just looking for any advice on how what to expect and ways I can help? And if anyone on here has been through it, is there anything that helped you?

I hope that some of our membesr will pop along and reply to give you some tips and ideas about what helped them during and after their treatment. I know that one thing that's mentioned fairly regularly is about taking something to keep you occupied during treatment. So it may be a book or a magazine. Perhaps a talking book or some music to listen to.
Your Mum will be/have been given some contact details for a specialist nurse. Keep these handy so that if you have any concerns about anything after her treatment you can contact them for advice. Don't be afraid to contact them - that's part of their role.
