Hi,

my mum got diagnosed with lung cancer, in both lungs. She had to switch to morphine yesterday as the pain and breathing in the morning especially very bad. As mum wants to be cared for at home I knew I would be giving up work to care for mum ( a given, work secondary ). Even though mum didn't want to know how long (although obviously just a best guess), I can tell this is quite aggressive and I fear I don't have as much time as I'd hoped. I need to get educated on what help is out there for what mum needs, being a carer etc. I like to think of myself as being quite good at organising etc but under these circumstances I can't seem to focus.

Any help and advice appreciated.
