Advice please

Hi,

I'm looking for some advice. My partner was diagnosed with Grade 3 Brain Cancer. They could only remove part of the tumour and he had radiotherapy but unfortunately this didnt work and in fact the tumour was still growing. He then started Chemotherapy and has had 3 sessions so far, he has been refused Chemo the last 3 times too because his blood count was too low. He went for an MRI Sunday and is due again for Chemo tomorrow however unsure whether or not his bloods have improved. I'm trying not to think the worse but he is having several symptons like pins and needles in his arm and hand and also cramp. Regularly cold to touch, struggling to breath for a couple of seconds, then is able to get his breath back. Could this be a sign that he isnt getting better or am i worrying to much?

Thank you

  • Hi SJB81,

Welcome to Cancer Chat, although I'm sorry to read about your partner. I hope you're getting on OK.

Unfortunately no-one on here can really answer your question; it's only really your partner's doctor or medical team that can do this, so the best thing is to discuss this with them if you can.

Do continue to use this forum if you'd find it helpful to write down any thoughts or worries - it's a very understanding community of people here.

    Wishing you all the best,
