Swollen under chin following radiation

Hi

My friend has had quite a lot of radiation for neck & head cancer. And she has developed swelling under her chin and slightly swollen cheeks. For weeks now. The doctors..have no idea what it is. Yep, thats right. They dont think its lypmhadema. They dont think it was the port surgery. They dont know. Frustrating. 

Does anyone have experience with this kind of swelling? 

  • I'm sorry that the doctors have no answer for what is causing your friend's swelling. No doubt this is a frustrating situation for all concerned.
