  • Hello emmalb,

I just wanted to welcome you to our forum. I am so sorry that your mum has been diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer that is has spread to her bones. You seem to be very close to your mum - this must have come as such a shock to you.

I hope you won't mind I have slightly edited your title to include the words 'mum diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer'. This will increase the chances of others who have been in a similar situation seeing your post and sharing their story with you. Hopefully you will hear from some of our lovely members who have been affected by Stage 4 breast cancer or looked after a loved one who has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer.

It sounds like there is a lot for you to take in at the moment, a lot of information to process after the diagnosis. Feel free to give our nurses a call on this free number 0808 800 4040 - their line is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm and they will be very happy to answer any questions you may have at the moment and talk thing through with you.

We also have some information on our website on breast cancer which you can find here and which will hopefully be useful to you.

I will now let our members come and say hello and share their experiences with you. We're all here for you anytime you need to chat or offload.

    Best wishes,
