I feel a bit of a fraud posting on here as it’s not actually me that has received a diagnosis; my Mum was diagnosed yesterday straight after her colonoscopy. We werent given too much information just that they saw a malignant structuring tumour/colonic tumour during the procedure. Her post procedure report, and we learned from speaking to the consultant the tumour was so large the camera was impassible. We are now awaiting to hear about dates for an MRI and a CT scan. Again my apologies as this really isn’t and shouldn’t be about me but I’m absolutely terrified for her. As a family, we have had a recent bad experience losing a young family member to triple negative breast cancer so naturally, I am fearing the worst. I’m trying so hard to be positive.
Just thought about popping on here to see if anyone has had a similar experience and what happened?
