Hi Tel, I'm not sure how much i can help but just to let you know, I am going through exactly the same as you. I lost my dad two and a half years ago to prostrate cancer which spread to his bones and then his liver. Now, my mum has stage 4 lung cancer which has spread rapidly. She has been given a prognosis of three months and we are now 7 weeks into that. It feels like you are living with a timebomb. All I can say is to make every day count, create some good memories and also to make sure you take care of yourself. How is your dad taking it? From my personal experiences, the palliative care from the hospices is first class and they will also support you emotionally as well if you need it. Has this been offered to you yet? xx Big hugs from me xxxx
