Hi all
My father is 70, he is registered blind and has difficulty with vertigo and balance.
He ended up in hospital last week due to his heart rate, whilst there they did an x-ray and found a lump on his lung, they have now said they believe this to be cancerous and has spread to his other lung too, they have said it is inoperable.
He had a biopsy on Friday and we are awaiting results from that.
I'm really struggling to stay strong, my Dad relies heavily on me due to his reduced mobility and sight, he is also a recovering alcoholic, so has many issues. I feel like this may just be too much for him. I am expecting the biopsy results to confirm that the cancer is unfortunately very far gone.
Should we have been in touch with Macmillan or something, as currently we're not receiving any information?
Thanks for listening to my rambling.
Regards, a lost daughter.
