My dad has cancer

hi my dad has had cancer for 5 years I am only 18 and it’s affecting me really bad. He had prostate cancer and it spread to his bones we found out the other day he has to get a full body scan, and the 3rd round of chemo. We are devasted any tips on how to cope would be helpful.

    Hi I've got prostate cancer which has gone to lymph nodes, spine, ribs, pelvis and I lung that was over three years ago I'm on permanent hormone therapy and cemotheropy when neaded as long as cemo works things should be fine best wishes

    I’m sorry to hear about your dad it’s never easy, full body scans are literally the worst my dad had one. Listen your not the only one I’m 14 when my dad got diagnosed my mums friend who also has a son in my year died of breast cancer I was close to her as well it’s been a year her son is doing well and he’s slowly staring to be happy again. I wish you the best. And just breathe and focus on any good thing in your life that you have even if it’s small it helps  xx
