Hi lady 1 I'm afraid i might not be much help but when does your husband go for a check up explain it to specialist or Dr he needs to keep going,, try not to mention things that up set up him stick to everyday things, do you think he's in pain if so get a Dr to come to see him he might need medicine changing or something, don't know if that helps, good luck.

Hi there - so difficult for you because you want your 'old' husband back. I've not been in your situation so it's hard to understand properly but I imagine he must be frightened. When you bring it up (I understand why you do) it makes him more anxious perhaps because he doesn't want to think about it. He might even be depressed. If he is you won't be able to make him talk because he just has to be in his dark place.

Perhaps if you don't try for a week or 2 to discuss it & just let him be he might come around in his own time. Do ask his doctors about it when you get the chance. In the meantime you must try to look after yourself so that you can care for him. Try not to worry too much - you are doing your best and that's all any of us can do.

Thankyou so much for your caring response I am afraid it's gone from bad to worse he had a appointment At the hospital about his af and was found to have  a pulse rest fluctuating between 132 -154 so he has been admitted to CCU and that's is he is right now 

So hopefully when they get this under control we can push forward to some where near normal x
