So my husband has his initial 7 hour operation next Monday - our 30th Wedding Anniversary! The hospital is almost an hour from home so I want to stay nearby. I don't have close friends who could be with me and my parents will be at home making sure that our 12 year old has a fairly normal day, so what do I do for all those hours while I'm just waiting and imagining what's being done to him!?
