Good afternoon, 

I am on here to talk about my Grandma (81) who was recently diagnosed with Metastatic Cancer. The Cancer can not be operated on, but she can have Chemo.

Today is her first day, she has been taken to the hosital by her Son. I was just wondering what to exect. I have really been upset by it all and have struggled quite a bit with it since the news was shared with the family as a life expectanc has been shared, which I am totally unprepared for. 

Her cancer is Oesophagus with a spread to the Liver.  she beat Pancreatic cancer about 8 years ago (lady of steel!!). 

Being selfish, I think the rest of the family are handling the news alot better than me, and I don't feel like I can really pour out to them due to the fact we are in it togetherm and Grandma is the one going through it. 

I guess I am looking to understand the sort of thing she might be going thorugh, how she might feel this week and whether there is anywhere I can source help (maybe here!).
