Immunotherapy for my dad's anal cancer

Hi there,

just wanted to ask about immunotherapy for my dads anal cancer. He has now had scans and it has spread to his legs after so much progress the chemo and radiotherapy combination didn’t stop the spreading but did shrink his tumour. I understand this is now a metastatic cancer and I see research for immunotherapy in the states is this even possible in UK? He’s been getting treatment from Manchester.

    This is something that would be best discussed with your dad's medical team which you could bring up when you next see them. They will be in the best position to tell you whether immunotherapy would be a treatment option for your dad and whether it is currently available in the UK.
