my 30 year old daughter has just be diagnosed with cervical cancer we don’t know her stage yet but we do know she will have a hysterectomy she has no kids she is my eldest baby how the hell do I help her
Oh my .. a mum's worse nightmare ... all I can say as a mum .. is get it all out .. scream .. vent ... cry .. and then when it's out .. get your mum's head on .. like we all do for our babies ... no mater what age they are .. like we did when they were small .. we held their hand then .. we just have to do it again ..
My son was diagnosed diabetic at 14 ... just when he was changing from a child to a man .. l learned about it causing blindness .. amputations... death ... that was some 20 years ago ... his whole life changed .. l spent weeks crying .. till one day he said ... I can cope with the diabetes...but I can't cope seeing you keep crying ...
Well I put on my mum's head .. learned everything I could to keep him safe as possible .. though I've come really close to loosing him to hypos when he was younger .. but once I got my head around it .. it was easier to do what I needed to do .. that's all us mum's can do .. be there every step of the way ..
