  • Hi Penny

Welcome to the forum. I'm really sorry to hear about Mum's situation. It sounds like it's been an incredibly difficult few months for you both.

Now that you've met with the nurses and hospice team have they been able to offer some practical support and advice? I hope that you felt able to talk with them honestly about how you're feeling and that they've been able to put some additional support in place for you as well.

Although it may feel that you're alone in all of this Penny, please know that you're welcome to come and post here whenever you feel the need to talk or offload. We'll do our best to support you. If you feel that you'd like to chat to one of our team of nurses for some advice they're available Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm on 0808 800 4040.

    Sending you our best wishes,

  • Hi there ...

Really sorry, it must be heartbraking ..

If you go on Marie Currie home page... think you'll find a lot of info ... they help with terminal diagnosis and their families... they maybe able to help give you a brake ... you sound like your taking the world on your shoulders ... reach out to any one ... and if you get the chance of a brake , take it ...

They have a phone number on there too.. give it a try ... Chrissie xx
