So sorry to hear this, I’m awaiting a CT scan to get my own answer. Fingers crossed for both of us and good wishes to you
hi, my mum has inoperable lung cancer to and she’s a non smoker. She was diagnosed in 2016 had 4 rounds of chemo therapy carboplatin and pemetrexed every 3 weeks for 4 rounds. Thankfully the chemo worked & shrunk the tumour & put it to sleep for 2.5 years, unfortunately the tumour has started to grow again & she’s just had her 1st lot of chemo again last week. Keep positive. Would love to know how you are getting on
Thank you for replying to this question. My husband was diagnosed with lung cancer in January (non smoker) with spread to his lymphatic system. We were given months as a prognosis which was devastating. He started chemo but it effected other organs so this was stopped. We naturally thought the tumor would grow but its shrunk and continues to shrink. Hearing your mother was 'free' for 2.5 years is the hope that keeps us all going.
