sorry to hear abot your mum, my mum has been diagnoised with bowel cancer and we dont know what stage as she cannot have a biopsy as she is to ill. she wont be offered any chemo or radiotheropy for the same reasons. we have started her on cannibis oil, she is very tired from it but its the only hope we have. we go back for more scans etc in a couple of weeks to see how much the mass has grown and to check if the abornormality on her lung is a tumor so i will keep you updated, there is many success stories i hope my mum is one of them. xxxx

Thanks for getting back to me and I’m so sorry to hear of your mum and how ill she is. Considering my mums diagnosis she is actually pretty well, nobody would think she was ill, though that just makes it all the more difficult to comprehend. I really hope that the cannabis oil works for your mum, please keep me updated and I’ll be hoping it works for her xxx

I'm really sorry that both of your mums are contending with bowel cancer and conventional treatment isn't possible but I just wanted to make you aware of the advice given on the NHS website about cannabis oil.

Even though it's available to buy online, this isn't recommended as it's illegal and could be potentially dangerous as the quality and content isn't known and there are side effects such as dizziness, hallucinations or interactions with other drugs so do let your mum's doctors know they are taking this if you haven't done so already.

Although there’s emerging evidence that molecules found in cannabis may one day be used to help people with cancer, there currently isn’t enough reliable evidence to prove that any form of cannabis can effectively treat or cure cancer in patients.
