I am guessing it must be fairly standard, although it’s scary to read! I had chemo for cervical cancer and there was a comprehensive list of risks including kidney and bladder damage, with the last risk being death. I’m still here, and I assume they have to put it there along with the other potential risks to cover all bases as it were. I still signed the consent form.

Please try not to worry about this-everything during treatment is very carefully managed. x

its just my friends mom is going through the exact same but hers doesn’t mention ‘death’ so obviously it’s a shock to read and it just seems to be all happening so fast!
