Hi,

My mother had her first TACE procedure today and the after effects has really rocked the family. I don’t think I’ve ever seen my mom in so much pain before, she was literally asking if she was dying (even with a whole dose of painkillers). 

I’m not sure how new the procedure is to the UK / NHS but from the excitement in my mom’s Oncologist’s voice each time she mentions TACE I get the feeling that it’s relatively new.

I’ve been told that it won’t cure her cancer and that she will feel better, but can anyone else Who is familiar with the procedure share their experiences please?
