Is he on treatment it can give mood swings as side effects, sometimes people try to push people away thinking it will make it easier for you if the worst happens. Any advice is just taking your time trying to relax is he still mobile can help himself a bit. Men like to be sure if themselves.

Hello Billy thank you for your reply.  No, he’s not on treatment yet.  They are going to try immunotherapy and see if it can slow the cancer down a little. It’s been such a shock, it’s a lot to cope with isn’t it.

Thank you for tagging me! I’m assuming the diagnosis was very recent yeah? All I can say is take one day at a time, when my mum was diagnosed with cancer it was all a blur to her and she describes it as “feeling fine, but people tell you, you aren’t fine.” Like you say you’re partner is probably very scared and angry right now so I’d just give him as much support as you can just let him know you’re here for him and he can always talk to you. It might give him abit of reassurance knowing he isn’t going through it alone :) x

Thank you Billy.  The immunotherapy starts tomorrow.  We’re feeling a little apprehensive but it has given us hope of having a little extra time.
