Is it the end

Hi, I am only 17 and I think my dad is reaching the end of his life and I’m really scared

in summer he was diagnosed with terminal pancreatic and liver cancer. He never smoked or drank heavy and he lived a healthy lifestyle so WHY is it him?!!!!

He recived two types of chemotherapy and neither of them worked and the tumours grew. He is currently going through mistletoe therapy but we have had to stop it due to him getting jaundice and not doing great.

He is in a lot of pain with his back and stomach and his jaundice isn’t going. He is also not eating a lot and is always tired. Is there any chance that this is just what Happens or does it have to be the end?? I’m really scared and can’t lose him please help

  • I'm so sorry about your dad Sarah. I can't begin to imagine how difficult and scary this must be for you.

We have some information about what signs to look out for in the final weeks and days which I hope will of some help to you at this time but as this can be quite a tough read I'd only suggest going through it properly when you're 100% sure you're ready to do so or have someone with you for support.

Many of our members know how tough the final part of this journey can be so I'm sure some of them will be along to offer their support and advice once they've seen your post.

    Kind regards,
