Hi Everyone,

     My Dad was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer 6 months ago, a shock to us all. He was given 11 months. It’s now been 6 and he’s doing well. All scans are showing it’s not grown and he’s feeling well. His cancer is caused by his time in the fire service. He won’t be having chemo or any treatment. Has anyone experienced this type of cancer in their family? Have they suddenly deteriorated and that’s been it? He’ll definitely kick the 11 months but I can’t keep wondering how much longer we can keep getting “good” news? He won’t be having a scan next month, just some bloods so I’m not sure how or what that can tell. It’s been 3 months since his last scan.
