SusieG, I can only offer my empathy and sympathy.

My dad has the same diagnosis, only discovered when he had brain scans after seizures in August last year.

Hopefully your dad can receive the same level of care that mine has to make him and is comfortable.  Unfortunately it seems that my dad is coming to the end of his fight, but don’t let that discourage you and your family from being by your dad’s side every step of the way.

I no how you feel my sister has lung cancer dat has spread to the brain she has 3growths on her lung and 3on her brain she was tould with treatment she has bout year without treatment bout 2-3,months,this was decemeber last year she's had chemo and other treatment but it has'nt worked treatment has stoped and she's tryin to make most of wot she has got left shes getting tiered now and its so draining to watch i just keep on makin myself busy and lookin on sites like this cause its helpin me get through teres people on here who understands an are going through the same thing i no im not on my own

Thank you for your response, sorry for late reply. So glad to hear your dad has good care - we have access to lots of support too but dad managing at the moment so not ready for care just yet. Dad just had his 2nd round of chemo yesterday so if last time anything to go by he probably won’t feel too well in a couple of days. I’m just finding it hard to accept his diagnosis as apart from being really fatigued at times he’s not really got any symptoms (was a routine scan that highlighted his cancer), he’s a little forgetful but no seizures as yet, i suppose I’m just a bit worried how he’s gonna be later & I think he’s worried about that too.

Hiya sorry its taken me so long to get back to you yes the treatment did help it did srink the growths on her lung but not on her brain she is still with us today and im amazed of how she is dealin with it all
