Hi, I was hoping there was someone out there who could give me some advice.

my dad has battled colon cancer for 3 years and it has now spread to the liver lungs and chest. He is doing surprisingly well so far, has been on oxyplatin which worked for a time and now on a different chemo.

i just wondered whether anyone has paid for treatments shroud that has helped this type of cancer

    Hi paying for treatment is only any good if its something you can not get on the NHS like you see on TV where they go abroad for treatment. It's only specialist treatments. NHS have every thing they need apart from the odd very rare cases even a lot of them can still get NHS treatment. This country does all it can to help you. Some people hue pay private don't get any better treatment. Good luck with your dad.
