My dad has had terminal prostate cancer for 10 years n we have just bin told it has spread to his bones I am looking after him n we have bin close all my life ime struggling with the thought of loosing him
Welcome to the forum although I'm so sorry to read this about your dad. I know this must be incredibly hard to come to terms with. Have you received information from your dad's medical team about likely next steps? Do make sure you ask them any questions you have so that you can gather the knowledge you need to help with your situation.
I'm sure you're doing all you can to support your dad but it's natural that you also need support yourself. I hope you can find this forum a useful place to be for that. We have a welcoming community here and it is often useful to talk to others or to simply write down your feelings. Hi is your dad having any more kemo or anything else, I've had cancer in my bones for over 3 years now it's not terminal but it's not curable eather if you want to check on me check on billygoat on prostate cancer and living with cancer you don't say what his psa or anything is if he has more treatment there is a chance to stop it good luck.
Hi unfortunately my father is terminal with prostate and has been for ten years an last year they found a tumor in his throat which has now gone n the cancer has spread through his bones it is so heart wrenching watching him deteriorate thankyou for taking the time to reply
