  • Hello Susanuk,

So sorry to hear about your mam's diagnosis and how sad that they were unable to operate.

Waiting for results can be a truly nerve wracking experience when time seems to stand still. I hope you won't have to wait too long before you can find out more about what the next plan of action might be.

Try and talk to her GP maybe about the fact that she isn't eating much and that she has lost so much weight and hopefully they will have some suggestions for you to help both of you in the coming days before you get the final results.

Our nurses are also available on this free number if you want to talk things through with them. You can ring them on 0808 800 4040 Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.

Do come back here and let us know what you find out if you get a minute. We'll be thinking of you and your mam.

    Best wishes,
