And welcome ... think a call to his oncology team or g.p (with his permission) will give you more answers then we can ..as wer not qualified ...and everyone is different .. and they will have your hubbys records there ...
timescales seem to vary from what I know but it’s generally 6-8 weeks after chemo has finished although in some cases 4 weeks or longer. I myself had last infusion on 31st October, they classed ending chemo as 2 weeks from that date and then I had my gastrectomy on 2nd January. My surgeon told me I’ll start chemo again 6-8 weeks after surgery to allow for recovery.
I hope your husband is coping with chemo, I had FLOT also and it’s a gruelling time, but I found recovery quite quick and was able to gain all weight I’d lost and more before surgery. If you’ve any questions about surgery etc please ask.
