my dad has not asked any questions about life expectancy as a result of his recent diagnosis of lung and spine cancer, this is suspect is either as he knows and doesn’t want to talk about it or he doesn’t want to know which is his right. I , through quizzing the consultant independently without dad present am aware he has ‘months’..... devastated my question is this...... my mother is unaware of the prognosis so do I tell her? Any advice is welcome as I’m in a total quandary
