Grandad lung Cancer what to expect? What can I do?

My grandad had cancer that spread to his lungs start Dec 2018 he came and told us he was told he has 4 months my grandad is struggling to eat stuff he can eat soft food and puddings and he also eating less what can I expect? What signs or will happen near the end?

Hey
My dad was just diagnosed with osphegus cancer on 28th December
The past week he has hardly ate a thing he's been eating more custard soups etc all easy to swallow but to be honest he's not keeping anything down
We haven't even net with a doctor yet to find out about my dad's cancer xx

I'm worried he was given 4 months and I'm getting my hopes up he be here longer its 3 months now he has seen a specialist who gave him 6 weeks but for someone who has 6 weeks he still looks perfectly okay to me

That's amazing then if u think he is looking well has he to go for any other scans x
Has he had any treatments, my dad started complaining tonight of a weird taste in his mouth x
I'm like you I'm so scared and don't know what's going to happen x
