I'm glad that your friend's cancer hasn't spread Gill and that he is able to have a gastrectomy.

I think I've directed you to the stomach cancer section on our website already but I just wanted to make you aware of this page as it explains more about the type of surgery your friend is going to have.

I know you're hoping to hear from others who have gone through this so I've had a quick look through the forum and found [@Superhero-daughter]‍ and [@EnnX]‍. Both of their dads have had this surgery and hopefully they will pop by when they can to say hello and share their fathers' experience of this with you.
