Brain Tumour and Dizziness

my dad has been further diagnose with a secondary brain tumour. He is very dizzy and being sick a lot. What’s the solution, if any, to easing his dizziness and sickness?

  • Hello Quay and welcome to the forum.  So sorry to learn of your dad's condition and the effects it is having.  I am guessing that your dad is receiving care at home which is why you are trying to cope with his  dizziness and sickness.  Do you have nurses who come in to check how your dad is doing and give you advice?  You should perhaps ask them about helping to ease these unpleasant symptoms your dad is going through.  If certain food and drinks seem to make your dad sick then you may be able to reduce this by cutting them out.  This must be a very sad and difficult time for you and  you are entitled to get the help you need to ease your dad's discomfort so do ring and ask the nurses if they are not calling every day.  I hope that you and your family are supporting each other and getting as much outside help as you  need.  I am sorry I can not give you a clear answer myself.  I am attaching a link to information on this website about brain tumours including secondary brain tumours which I hope may be useful to you.  Best wishes.  Annie
