  • Hi there and welcome to our little chat room ..

You don't say what cancer your mum has ... it helps because we all have different cancers and treatments vary depending on the stage, and grade of the cancer ...

If you write down All those things your both confused about ... you can call McMillan or the free phone on here and talk to a trained nurse that deals with cancer ... and write down the answers or what they suggest... as it's easy to forget ... I did that at the start of my cancer journey and it really helped ..

Cancer wants us to buckle and brake, but you being there for your mum will mean the world to her ... having my son hold my hand through this is priceless ... I couldn't have done it without him .. you can't take it away, but walking by your mum's side will give her the courage she needs to see this through ..

There's lots on here, been where your mum is now ... so any thing you want to ask, feel free ... I'm on here most days ... and you know it's good to share feelings with your mum ... it's o.k to admit your both scared .. and even sharing tears helps you both move forward together ... Chrissie
