I'm sorry to hear about your husband's situation and can appreciate how this is worrying you.

Refusing to see a doctor when one has cancer is more common than we would expect, unfortunately, and sometimes the fact that they're fully grown adults don't help, does it? Have you tried suggesting some counselling to your husband? If you haven't yet that might be a way of offering him a broader view on the situation, as the opinion would come from someone who is not involved.

Hopefully some of our members who have been through the same experience with their loved ones affected by cancer will be along shortly to share their stories with you and offer advice but until then post as much as you need, even if all you need is to vent.
