I noticed you were asking about cannabis oil so I thought I'd stop by to share some information we have about it on our science blog. It's a very interesting read and it shows that although research is ongoing, there is currently not enough reliable evidence to prove that cannabinoids can effectively or safely treat cancer patients.

Cannabis oil is also illegal in the UK because it contains the mind-altering substance THC. Using any black market or home-made preparations of cannabis oil can be very dangerous. As it’s unregulated these products might be contaminated with harmful substances and vary in strength. Taking this could potentially interfere with other cancer treatments given to your mum by a doctor, and can carry other side effects and risks as well.
