My Husband has been diagnosed with Thymus carcinoma with bone metastasis... He starts radiotherapy tomorrow..They said is only palliative care treatment. Any one out there having the same treatment ?
I'm sorry that your husband has been diagnosed with thymic carcinoma with bone metastasis.
There haven't been too many discussions about this diagnosis on the forum recently but I did want to put you in touch with [@ardmore]. They signed up to the forum last year looking to chat to others who had thymic carcinoma so hopefully they'll pop back on the forum for a chat now I've mentioned them in this post.

my sister was diagnosed with thymus gland carcinoma in August. She’s had 5 out of 6 cycles of chemo and after 2 cycles it had shrunk from an 8cm tumour to 4cm tumour. They’ve also told my sis that they can treat it but no cure as it’s so rare. Wish they could operate to remove but apparently it’s grown in some very odd places which would be too difficult. Hope your husband’s treatment has been going well. I seem to be an expert about chemo now but I have no idea what radiotherapy entails!!
