Hello

To all....

just a quick note to say hello. My beautiful wife has just started her first round of chemo. So far, after four days, she’s better than expected, just tired and achy, temps are good and I’m getting used to giving her the jabs! I know there’s such a long way to go, and that this is just the start of her journey, but I am confident that it’s a journey of recovery road leading to remission city! I’ll pop by and say hello and join in when I can, I so hope everyone here is feeling as well as they can be, and that your journey is a comfortable one! Look forward to talking to you all again soon

  • Hi there ...

Just want to welcome you to our little chat room .. it's a place we can come to offload or share a thought or two .. but know others know those feelings, not just guess ..

You sound like you both have a good outlook, and are with all of us, trying to kick cancers butt down the road ... cancerlikes us weak, and then it can feel overwhelming... and we all have low days ... but it's about having those feelings, then getting back up and taking it on again ..

We always need help to answer the threads on here, as some can slip by without an answer occasionally... so Hope you both get through this chemo o.k .. but I'm sure your Mrs has great help with your outlook .. big hug Chrissie x

  • Hi chrissie,

thanks for your reply, indeed she is a very strong woman, she’s been suffering with fibromyalgia for some years already and she said yesterday that the effects were like a fibromyalgia flare up. I’m sure there’s tougher days ahead, but I’ll m keeping my eyes on the final outcome.... kicking it’s *** for good!!
