Hello simon; sorry about everything you have mentioned.  Sometimes life just seems to stab you in the back and it can take something like your bike wheel being nicked that can just tip you over the edge.  So your beloved mum is coming home for her final days.  Are things being put in place to facilitate this - I don't know what family you have to share the care alongside the medical staff involved. This is going to be a very difficult time and you need to ensure that the necessary things are happening.  Having helped care for terminally ill friends I know there is a lot of to-ing and fro-ing with equipment and people.  This is the important thing now.  If it would help you feel a bit better. could you leave a note by the place where your bike wheel was taken telling the thief (who might live locally to this place) what effect it has had on you.  Just a thought.  Please do keep in touch with us if you feel it would help you - there are people here who have understand from their experiences.  Annie

Hi Simon so sorry 2 read u situation about u mum . In my experience u just find the strength 2 cope just spend much time with u mum as u can. I’m not going lie 4 me it’s the hardest thing I ever had 2 do been told that they couldn’t do anything 4 my mother. My mother passed away 2 August 2017 it been year now my mother had Bowel cancer . I don’t know if u know u shouldn’t put u email address on here so many people can see these post u will have the 1 or 2 who not genuine on here . There is private message u just add friend if they accept u can message that way . No 1 on here will see it hope that help . U take care x

                     I really feel your pain right now as my mum has also been diagnosed with lung cancer that has spread to her brain , its such an awful time and im feeling exactly the same as yourself . 

I think i kissed my mum for the last time tonight. i am going to miss her so much now i need u guys to help me cope
