He has had prostate cancer for 3/4 years now and the last 5 months since we lost my nanny have started going downhill for him quite a bit as the cancer had become advanced - I took him up a and e 2 weeks ago as it was the quickest way to get him a scan dues to the poor program his prostate doctor had given him - we found out it had spread to the bottom of his spine and was pressing on the nerves which was causing him to have a lot of pain in his legs and was finding it very difficult to walk - he was sent to the hospital the next morning and had 1 big dose of radiotherapy that afternoon, he has also been on steroids - the next day after radiotherapy he was like a new man and could nearly walk around without his stick - since then tho the last week and a half have gone a little downhill again with him barely being able to walk again and him becoming constipated which he finds very upsetting - he has his injection today with the nurse for the hormone therapy and has booked a doctors appointment for straight afterwards - is this set back a reaction from the radiotherapy or something else? And any estimates as to how long he may have left as he hasn’t been very well the last week whatsoever and he has been getting upset a lot recently - any ideas or comments would be helpful. Many thanks, Luke
