Feeling down and scared

Really struggling at moment. Scared about the future. Don only given months to live. His first session of chemo really wiped him out and left me emotionally and physically exhausted  Will have to get some strength from somewhere to support him. More chemo on Tuesday hope he copes better this time

  • My question has always been, who cares for the carer ... well we can't help you physically but we can be an ear to listen and a vertual hand to hold ... have you got any respite care .. reach out and ask McMillan if there's any counselling or practical help ...

But you can vent on here ...or chat .. or  just let it a all out ... so I'm sending you a vertual hug ... hang on in there ... Chrissie

  • Don't despair , my husband was diagnosed a year gone April with no cure but the chemo and radiotherapy halved the tumour and he's still here with me.  It's a tough road and hard for carer's,  you MUST look after yourself ad well, if you make yourself in with worry its not going to be helpful.  There are good days and bad days, take it a day at a time, concentrate on each day only and get through it.  Use good friends,  go for coffee,  the pictures anything that gives you some respite.   My blog is a day by day diary of living with cancer.  Have a look at last May, June 2017 posts it may help.  Warm wishes to you.  Carolxx
