Welcome to the forum Daddykins although I'm sorry for the reason you are posting.

It's always a scary and worrying time when a loved one may be showing signs of their cancer returning but I want you to know you are not alone. Many members here have found themselves in a similar position to your dad and hopefully some of them will reply soon to share their experiences with you as well as offer their support and advice. 

Our members are very good listeners and will do what they can to help you manage your fears and worries so do keep chatting to us here on the forum if you're finding it helps and keep us updated when you can.

We'll have our fingers crossed that your fears will not be confirmed.

Hello there Daddykins.  Even though we know our parents are likely to die before we do it still hits us as something that we are frightened to comprehend; and we don't know how we can possibly cope.  But I am pleased you have come to the right place; sadly every day brings posts from people who are in a similar situation and who are frightened and full of despair.  If you take a look at the forum you will find just about every screen has heartbroken people who have lost or will shortly lose a beloved parent or other near relative.  It may help you to exchange posts with them and you will realise that there is support and people who understand what you are experiencing.    I hope you are getting support with caring for your dad and that other family members are helping you. It is always going to be so sad and difficult; the strong emotions can be overwhelming.  Do please continue to come and talk to people here and tell us how you are getting along.    Annie
