I am sorry to hear that the hormone therapy treatment has had an effect on your boyfriend's interest in sex.

As you can see on this page about hormone therapy, the treatment can have an impact on libido and cause erectile problems (impotence). I can imagine it must be really hard to deal with for both of you. We have some helpful information on this here with some suggestions which I hope will be useful to you.

You have come to the right place to talk to some of our members who understand what you are going through. I am sure many here have experienced this themselves and I hope you will hear from them soon and that they have good advice for you based on their personal story. It might be a good idea perhaps to edit your title to include the words 'prostate cancer' (for example 'Struggling after prostate cancer diagnosis')  so that others who have been affected by prostate cancer can see immediately from looking at the homepage what type of cancer your post focuses on.
